近年來，全世界各國莫不重視文化創意產業的催生與發展，尤其，海峽兩岸文創產業的積極合作與蓬勃交流，目前大陸｢十二五規劃」、台灣「黃金十年」都將文創產業列為未來經濟發展重點，文化創意產業已成為海峽兩岸尋求下一波經濟成長動能的重要核心，也必將成為推動雙邊經濟合作的支柱。其實，早在30年前，美濃窯的朱邦雄博士就已提出了同樣的建構思想而獨樹一幟，經由藝術、設計、工藝、工程、科技等技術的整合而誕生的「陶壁公共藝術」，更是結合了傳統與現代、鄉土與國際、人文與科技的最佳典範，因此，造就了朱邦雄博士「文化創意產業的先行者」之稱號。 

In recent years, countries all over the world have been trying developing cultural and creative industries. Both China and Taiwan governemnts have taken the cultural and creative industires as the focus of future ecnonomic development and the strengh of financial cooperation by prmoting the "12th Five-Year Plan" and the "Golden Dacade". In fact, Dr. Chu from Meinung Yao has addressed a similar idea of cultural and creative industries 30 years ago. His public ceramic relief murals are created by the intergration of art, designs, skills, engeneering and technologies. With the policies of capital consturctions and public arts, Dr. Chu has developed the "functional ceramic murals" through the process of attempts and creation and honored with the "Most Functional Ceramic Award" from National Taiwan Craft Research Institute. 位於青翠山谷中的美濃窯花葉扶疏、環境幽美，庭園中擺置許多陶壁藝術，處處飄散濃厚的藝術人文氣息；加上「美濃窯燒咖啡」廳內香醇的咖啡香融合在清新的空氣中，令人陶醉。園區內設有「陶藝展覽館」，展示藝術家創做的藝術作品，除了大型的陶壁公共藝術外，也有適合裝置於一般家庭、別墅的小型陶壁藝術，更有許多精絕的陶藝精品，每件逸品皆由朱邦雄博士精心設計，值得愛好陶瓷藝術的蒐藏者珍藏。 

Meinung Yao is in the center of floweriness garden. The ceramic relief murals, along with the coffee fragrance from Meinung Yao Cafe, has made Meinuung Yao a dreamy space for creation. The ceramic exhibition center displays not the large public ceramic relief murals but also small ones for home decorations.
